The After Dark Society is a Djent-influenced Deathcore band from Austin, Texas. 

Vocalist Reagan Zimmerman and guitarist Hunter Fisher formed The After Dark Society with a common musical vision and quickly composed several songs. The duo worked with producer Brian Mertz to bring these songs to life as the “Tales from the Asylum” EP in 2021.

After announcing their first EP, Zimmerman and Fisher brought in Brice Buccolo on lead guitar and Hunter Hagberg on drums and began performing “Tales from the Asylum” live in cities across Texas. 

The band quickly built a following in the local Austin scene after making their mid-pandemic live debut on February 6th, 2021. Promoters, bands, and fans are taking notice, as the band continues to book bigger shows and receive requests to play in other cities and states.

So far, The After Dark Society has shared with stage with bands such as Attila, The Browning, Enterprise Earth, I the Breather, A Skylit Drive, The Bunny The Bear and more. They’re actively building their resume and providing local support for national and regional touring bands passing through major Texas cities. The After Dark Society has consistently sold past the quota for ticket sales and loves to bring a great time to every show they play.

After a line up change in July 2023, The After Dark Society brought on Haval Karim on Drums. With the new vision in the horizon, The After Dark Society minimized gear and started incorporating programed lights into the performance.  After Haval joined The After Dark Society they played shows as much as possible all over Texas including San Antonio, Houston, Abilene!

So Far in 2025, The After Dark Society has shows booked around Texas such as Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Taylor and Dallas as well as booked their first Weekend Run!!
